Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew as a child in Mexico in a family who was passionate about music. She was raised listening to classical and old boleros, along with classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana has a passion for Tangos, opera, and every form of dramatic performances. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous singing lessons at the age of 16, under the direction of renown Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous chamber and opera choirs. After moving into America, United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002, she made her way to southern California. She's a regular solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions singing the traditional Latin American Music. She has been involved with a number of local organizations and is a teacher as well as a performer due to her enthusiasm for music and arts. Ana was also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana hopes that with her performance her love of Latin American traditional songs, that she will inspire a love, especially among the younger generation, for keeping this music alive.
